 m51-stack-rgb-50pct.jpg - Object: M51 - Whirlpool Galaxy Date: May 2nd 2007 Instrument: C14 + Giant FR Camera: QHY-8 Exposure: 20x 120secs Filters: IDAS LPS P2 Comments: Second light for the C14, I changed the reducer configuration to bring the C14 down to f/5.9. Still no guiding sorted out yet, so I limited the exposures to 2 minutes Taken under a full Moon. This is still a bit rough, needs more work. It also shows me that one shot colour cameras need a lot more exposure than I am used to with a mono camera. The large image is reduced to 50 percent of original size.
