Ideally you need a screen resolution better than 1024x768 to see these animations side by side.

Why not take a look at my Yahoo widget - Meteosat Animator - for producing Meteosat animations on your desktop? Fully configurable for colour/mono, bandpass, and allows you to overlay one bandpass image animation on top of another.
