Object: | M51 - Whirlpool Galaxy | Date: | May 2nd 2007 | Instrument: | C14 + Giant FR | Camera: | QHY-8 | Exposure: | 20x 120secs | Filters: | IDAS LPS P2 | Comments: | Second light for the C14, I changed the reducer configuration to bring the C14 down to f/5.9. Still no guiding sorted out yet, so I limited the exposures to 2 minutes | Taken under a full Moon. This is still a bit rough, needs more work. It also shows me that one shot colour cameras need a lot more exposure than I am used to with a mono camera. The large image is reduced to 50 percent of original size. |
