m16-030721.jpg - Object: M16 - Eagle Nebula Date: July 21st 2003 Instrument: LX200 10" f/10 Camera: SXV-H9 - binned 2x2 Exposure: 6x 120 seconds Filters: Orion Skyglow Comments: Stacked in AstroArt, tweaked in Photoshop.I was amazed to capture anything here, M16 was imaged through light cloud (the autoguider kept losing the guide star in the thicker bits of cloud) - no stars were visible in that part of the sky to the naked eye - whilst it was disappearing into the tree branches!
