m27_030624b.jpg - Object: M27 - The Dumbell Nebula Date: June 24th 2003 Instrument: LX200 10" f/10 + 0.33 FR Camera: SXV-H9 (Luminance) Toucam (colour) Exposure: L = 9x 90 seconds, Colour = 30x 20 seconds Filters: L = Orion Skyglow; Colour = None Comments: Some of the exposures didn't have very good tracking, but I included them in the final image anyway to reduce noise levels - hence the slightly oval stars. No darks, no flats, LX200 with 3.3FR running at (I guess around f/5 I've not checked it) This is a colourised version of the image. I took my webcam image of M27 from 10 Sept 2002, resized it and applied it as a colour layer to the SXV image. Turned out better than I thought!
